We’re excited to announce auditions for this year’s holiday community theater production of “A Christmas Carol,” the main attraction at the Riddlesbrood Dickens Festival!
Performances will be held during Black Friday weekend, November 28th and 29th, 2026, in beautiful Historic Smithville, New Jersey.

Step Into the Spotlight with Riddlesbrood’s Touring Shows—No Audition Required! We make joining our murder mystery and dinner theater cast easy and fun—no formal auditions to stress over! Our welcoming process ensures you’ll feel right at home:
Step 1: Email us at info@riddlesbrood.com to let us know you’re interested in becoming part of the magic!
Step 2: We’ll email you a few quick screening questions (like confirming you have a car) to ensure it’s a great fit.
Step 3: Complete the simple application we provide and send it back to us.
Step 4: Attend an event at your convenience to shadow, meet the cast, and learn the basics.
After this introduction, if you’re ready to embark on your acting adventure, we’ll schedule you for training shows—and then you’re off to the races! Join our family of fun-loving performers today!
