Murder Mystery Party Folsom PA

 

We recently performed a Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery party in Folsom Pa at Our Lady of Peace for their annual fundraiser.  (208 Milmont Ave, Folsom, PA 19033) They had over 100 people and raised a good deal of money for their programs. The audience knew that they were in for a treat when the music started to play and Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler stepped out into the stage lights!  The case of the Amethyst Gem night of mystery right in Ridley Township. (By the way did you know that the first WaWa was right here?)

Like many of the Murder Mystery Dinner Parties we perform, the actors were shooting out funny jokes like machine guns and had the crowd found themselves chuckling all night long.  In this show, several of out best actors (Eric Dunn, Dave Gold, Jeff Cleve & Karla Shantz)  used our signature audience interaction to bring up several volunteers who really got into their parts! For a fun photo-Op, one of the audience members even took a lie detector test, to the amusement of his friends.

As this was a nonprofit worship venue, the humor had to be family friendly, and this was no issue for the veteran theater troupe. Once all of the suspects had been examined by the crowd, the audience got to really get their hands dirty.  Everyone always plays with a Riddlesbrood show, the audience filled out their ‘clue sheets’ and selected who they thought the murderer was.  Once every one completed their forms, and desert was served, the actors collected them and the show was resumed.  Once the true killer was revealed, everyone clapped and the winners were given their, somewhat inexpensive, prizes.
